Engaging undergraduates in research and professional activities
helps motivate students to consider graduate education. Undergraduate
Research also provides students a head start in applying to
graduate school and a head start as they begin their graduate
education and professional careers.
The purpose of this webpage is to:
Provide a list
of the various Undegraduate Research programs and activities
in the School of Computer Science;
Give examples,
resources and contacts for folks who might be interested in
starting Undergraduate Research activities;
Facilitate
the collaboration and coordination of efforts, e.g. to facilitate
the organization of joint research and social events between
Undergraduate
Research programs,
particularly during the summer months;
Provide a resource
for students seeking Undergraduate Research activities.
